Haginas & Chapman maintains a staff of experienced review appraisers. This division of Haginas & Chapman provides appraisal ordering and review for lenders nationally. Essentially we are the “Chief Appraisers” for the various banks and other lenders. This service insures compliance with all OCC/FDIC/OTS regulations without a cost to the lender. Appraisals are reviewed under Standard 3 of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and are in accordance with all federal guidelines for regulated lenders.

Lenders initiate an appraisal request on-line; bids are placed via e-mail to various qualified appraisers from the lender’s list or ours via a competitive bid process with emphasis on competency, fee and delivery time. The lender is notified of the bids and the job is awarded by us, independent of loan production, based on the above criteria. The appraisals are reviewed and corrections requested, if required, before the report is submitted for loan purposes.
